i happen to like the old green day when they were still punk rock (BEFORE "dookie" was relesed) it's just typical everyday alternative music now.

Hehe.....I'm gonna be Billie Joe for haloween. I woke up one morning with my hair all messy and looked in the mirror, and my hair looked exactly like his and I though "Hey, why not be Billie Joe?". I'm coloring my hair black (which does not signify in any way that I am emo, 'cause I'm not), too. But I'm not gonna use eyeliner. Black marker is good enough.

See, that's what pisses me off - people write off AI just because "Oh, that's when they went emo". No, they didn't. All these other emo/punk/crap bands are copying off of them and singing about bad situations they've never even been in. AI is not emo. AI was the unfortunate album that bands like Fall Out Boy are trying (and failing) to channel. [/rant]
