The Literate "Whatever You Want" Roleplay

Ok, here are some rules.

All the Roleplaying that goes on in this thread does not affect your characters anywhere else.

Try to make your own characters up, and not to use anyone else's.

Some romance is allowed, and so is sex. But nothing too bad, ok?

"I have once again dreamed of Manderley" said a young male, about 16, as he woke up. He had had another one of the "dreams" where he was at his summer cabin.

He was walking the distance to it, when all of a sudden it all got dark, and the veil of night blanketed the land. He got worried, then he got within sight of the cabin. "Finally" he said, but then he heard something, it sounded to be coming from the forest...right behind him. He wanted to run so bad, but found he couldn't move, and just as he heard the monster, beast, or whatever it was, get up next to him, he woke up.

"I have once again dreamed of Manderley" He said as he was getting dressed. He put on his normal clothing, a black tank top with black dress pants, he found that dress pants were the most comfortable of his collection of clothes.

He looked at himself in the mirror, "Not bad" he reassured himself as he took a wet comb and ran it back through his black hair, effectively spiking it. He didn't need hairspray, since it had a tendancy to stand on it's own.

He finished that and walked downstairs to the kitchen, and grabbed a piece of toast, shoving it in his mouth before he left.

Monica peered around the corner. Her eyes adjusted to the darkness of the alleyway, and she could clearly see the lorry parked near the cafe, men loading boxes onto it. So this is what she was supposed to do...the scientists here must have something to hide if they're doing this. Nobody moves laboratories this quick. She crouched down and began to move almost like a cat towards the open back of the vehicle. She looked around cautiously, then jumped up behind one of the large boxes that were labelled "Fragile".

It wasn't long before she could hear voices outside, speaking in some strange language. The door to the lorry closed, and she could relax. The sound of the cab doors slamming was Monica's signal to start searching through the boxes, so she could retrieve what she was created to destroy. A tingle went down her spine as she walked closer to a large, red crate in the corner...

Meanwhile, an odd looking man stands inside a nearby building, in front of a dirty window, looking inside. He is tall, with a tidy black suit and a white tie. His face is wrinkled, perhaps slightly more than middle aged, and his white hair is neatly combed, as is his matching goatee. His eyes are covered by small black glasses that seem to fit perfectly over them. He watches with a small smirk, but does not speak.

As Monica reached towards the crate, the lorry suddenly swerved, sending her flying into it. A searing pain went down her arms and the back of her skull, and she felt the warm blood running down her forehead. She touched the crown of her head, and realised she'd hit her head on a corner. 'Oh shit...this is going wrong!' she thought, her eyesight blurring. She looked at the crate again, and began to open it. It was harder than getting in here, and she had to keep stopping because she was in so much pain.
