Yeah, poor Lennie never got to tend the rabbits. The end didn't make me cry, it just made me say, "Aw, c'mon! That's it? George just kills him! Uh, *turns back to the first page* What was the point of this story? The plot was.... crap, I didn't know what the plot was until near the end! And they end it just by killing Lennie. C'mon! Make a great escape in the cover of night, change their names, start a new life, grow mustaches, something! Man, the end just dropped like a rock." Good book, but I didn't really like the end. And then what happened to George?

i got the book...it was about the great depreesin and the Amnerican dream and how it never comes true....thats why curley's wife acted and dressed the way she did....cause her dreams never came true.....it was also about disrimination towards dissabled people, women, the working class and that sorta thing...... heh i studied it in english....i got a double B...i was the top class and im on gifted and talented...sooo....um.....thats my nerdy side showing

Yeah, I'm reading it for Honors Language Arts. They gave us the book, told us to read chapter one for that week, I finished the whole book the next day. I liked reading it, but it wasn't one of my favorite books.

have you ever read macbeth? i studied it in year 9....um not sure what that would be in america...um i was 13 when i did it...weel technicaly i was 12...it was the begining of the year....i loved that play....and Romeo and Juliet.....that was cool
