first of all, the pics (yeah most of you have probably already seen these, but i felt they deserved a thread of their own)

EDIT...UPDATE:
The new Gorillaz figures will be initially available in three different color variants, called the 'CMYK', 'White' and 'Two-tone' editions:

Gorillaz CMYK Edition available October 26 (limited to 60,000 sets) ($19.95 each figure)
Gorillaz White Edition available in November (limited to 4000 sets) ($24.95 each figure)
Gorillaz Two-tone Edition available in November (limited to 1000 sets) ($29.95 each figure)

Each figure comes in a unique box with exclusive accessories and will vary in height from 6 ¼ inches to 8 ¼ inches. The Gorillaz figures will be sold at all Kidrobot stores, online at www.kidrobot.com and at other select retailers.

i just recieved word that the figures will go onsale at the kidrobot stores and kidrobot.com on october 16th, rather than the 26th...and the other two versions of them are supposed to be available on november 2nd.

GRRR!!! i got no sleep last night and woke my ass up early on my only day off work to buy the dolls, and they aren't on sale at kidrobot yet. click on the buy button and it says 'coming soon' and won't let you put it in your shopping cart. the g-shop has the whole set on sale only...but at kidrobot you are going to be able to buy each one seperately...plus the shipping would be cheaper if you happen to be in the U.S.

out of the box...probably worthless except for a die hard collector. i don't have any plans to sell mine, so they will be situated on the shelves above my computer desk looking down at me just like my old 2d doll is Very Happy

kidrobot.com scared the hall out of me earlier. when i made that last post they were in the process of updating the site for them. the front page changed to available now right after i posted it...but they were still unbuyable...said coming soon...but then they pissed me off...they accidently displayed the 'SOLD OUT' sign on ALL of them. there is no way in hell 60,000 dolls could sell out in ten seconds...i freaked a bit and went to the g-shop. they were just a bit more expensive, but you could only get them in the group of 4...not individually. i needed an extra murdoc for felicia. i went back to kidrobot and it was all fixed. sold each separately, and for the 5 dolls i bought the shipping wasnt too bad.all together plus 2 day shipping, i payed like $115. not as bad as i feared. the shipping from the uk at the g-shop probably would have killed me. as far as i know there are still plenty left. but i think i'm going to keep them in the boxes until i find out what the other 2 sets will look like...that way i can sell the ones i don't like. or use them as prizes...EVEN THOUGH NO ONE IS PAYING ATTENTION TO THE NEW CONTEST!!!!!!! GAAH

and i'm still running off 3 hours sleep...i forgot to sleep cause i was talking to starlight AAAALLL day long. Laughing

we even listened to the good the bad and the queen's live concert on radio one together...all in all, a good day. now if you'll excuse me, i'm going to pass out now.

woah! i just checked on the status of my order, and found out that kidrobot just lowered the prices of the dolls. i got all 4 plus the extra muds plus the $14 2 day shipping fee for $99.95!!!!!!!!!

when i first placed it it was like $115...COOL!!! Very Happy

oh hell no...not sure exactly how many of them exist, but there is one in new york and one in california. it's an american company.

and the only reason i get that kind of money is because i'm living at my boyfriend's mom's house rent free...and i work my ass off 6 days a week.
